Hi, sorry if this is inappropriate for this forum, but as  was working on a recent captivate project, our client mentioned Breeze... the only reference I found was Macromedia... did Captivate replace Breeze, or are they two stand-alone programs...?

Thanks,

Jesse

Hi, Jesse.

Breeze was the old Macromedia name for what Adobe now calls: Adobe Connect (or Adobe Connect Pro)

Thanks

Hi Jesse

Breeze was the Macromedia name. Adobe branded it as Acrobat Connect Pro. It's many different things rolled into one.

  • Desktop sharing - you can use it for training - attendees can see your desktop or you can request to see theirs
  • Webinars and collaboration
  • Functions similar to a LMS if you acquire that module - Upload Captivate content and deploy to certain users - They log in and scores are uploaded to Connect and you can view them

I'm probably just scratching the surface of its capabilities. For more on it, check out the Adobe page. Link is below.
