Im a bit of a numpty when it comes to this, so am unsure how that can help me, maybe I need to explain myself better.
I have a indesign file with 5 Annexes, each one needing a specific master page applied to the first page (chapter start), i.e Annexe 1 (page 24) = masterPage "AnnxPage", Annexe 2 (page 36) = masterPage "AnnxPage" and want to script this? Can it be done?
Thanks for you help!
I've been using that script and its fantastic, but is there any way (I have tried and tried) to hard code the para styles and master pages in the script, so you don't get the chose of both, so (para style) - ChaprerStart always has (Masterpage) - A-Master applied to it?
I keep trying, but no luck, I don't even need a dialog box.
Any help would be great!
(unless of course it's in a style group)
As I must be a bit thick! I'm not sure how to use that? maybe I should explain myself better:
I want to change the Masterpage to only pages that have a specified style on it?
This is very wrong but something like this:
app.findTextPreferences.appliedParagraphStyle = "Heading 1"; Apply myPage.appliedMaster = B-Blank
I just keep trying an am getting nowhere!
