1. Re: Why is this PDF reporting font data when they have been removed?
MooseDesign Feb 3, 2010 7:29 PM (in response to MooseDesign)The plot thickens! So I opened the file into Apple's native PDF viewer (Preview.app) and simply saved the file back out again and it dropped the size in half! Compare the above file audit in Acrobat to this, after simply opening and resaving the file:
So, the file has gone from 218kb to 86kb simply by doing that... What is going on? Why can't Acrobat get those gains? Any ideas on what I might have lost? I still need to run the forms through some tests, but they appear to be OK...

~graffiti Feb 3, 2010 7:34 PM (in response to MooseDesign)Did you try doing a "save as" out of Acrobat?
That will normally toss out all the extra junk in the file after you've cleaned it up. That's what you did in Preview. Just curious if you tried it in Acrobat first.

MooseDesign Feb 3, 2010 10:13 PM (in response to ~graffiti)I saved as PDF and saved as PDF, Optimized... to little avail. Was there another format I should try?
