Photoshop CS4? If so is OpenGL enabled?
Yes it is CS4, but i am not sure, that OpenGL is enabled? Would you mind telling me how to check or change that?
It’s listed under Preferences – Performance.
OpenGL was enabled so that wasn't the problem.. darn it! (:
Any other ideas?
What happens if you allow PS to use 100% of RAM available?
Have You tried turning OpenGL off?
100% memory usage is not recommended.
That did the job!
What % is recommended then?
But turning OpenGL off costs You some of the new Features (Canvasrotation, etc.).
As regards Performance You might read this:
You may have another applicaiton using the video card (badly), or you may have a problem with your video card.
But yes, disabling OpenGL drawing should avoid that kind of issue for now.
