Hi,

I'm using Robohelp for HTML Help X4.1 since years (9000 topics). Today I've had my first error-message when I was saving my work : "Cannot open the project file" + the path of the RH project file

After closing and restarting RH, I've lost my entire index !! What can I do now?

Please Help!

It's OK now. Just renamed in the project root the .HHK_backup file in .HHK file!

Thanks for your help : not be alone is a happy feeling!

Hi Paul and welcome to the RH community.
I have to ask this but is your project on a network drive? If so, move it off and try again. If that still doesn't work, have you a backup of the project of before the last time you had a problem? If that still doesn't work, you may want to follow the advice at this link.
