Getting to grips with Form Guides and Data Models in ES2

Hello,

I'm currently moving from ES to ES2 and want to better understand the data model capability in Workbench ES2.

I think the problem I have is the way in which I am approaching it.

I have created a form, in Designer, and have an XML Schema that I am using for a data connection.

In ES I could simply create a Form Guide based on that form, however in ES2 I need to have a Data Model.

I understand the principles of the Data Model however I can't see how to use my XML Schema as the basis of one - or am I approaching this the wrong way?

Any guidance is appreciated.

Right, helps if you do a bit of reading and searching.

I have found out that xdp support in FormGuides will be released in Service Pack 1 of ES2.

So I guess my question is now two-fold:

1. When is Service Pack 1 of ES2 to be released?

2. How do you generated/create a PDF from a FormGuide (especially if you want to include a PDF view as part of the Guide)?
