I have 40+ video tracks, it takes up way to much space, how do i scale down the video tracks? in final cut i could scale them down so they take up less space. when i'm looking at my timeline i only see about 9 video tracks. so whenever i have to see a different track i have to scroll down which is a total pain. is there a shortcut to scrolling down in the timeline? here is a screen shot.
Unfortunately, one can only scale down so far in PrPro. However, one can certainly set the "bar" between the Video Tracks and the Audio Tracks, to get more real estate.
When I have that many Tracks (Audio, or Video), I have a Workspace set up, so that the Timeline takes up all of one monitor, and things like the Program Monitor and other Panels on the second monitor.
When working on Audio, I drag that divider bar to "minimize" the Video Tracks and then scroll the Audio Track's section, as needed. I do the reverse, when working with the Video.
i was afraid that would be the answer.
Curious only: Why have you got 40 video tracks?
