Topics excluded from Webhelp still display

I am using conditional build tags to exclude some topics, and some text within topics, from my help file. When I compile and view the help in RoboHelp, the topics/text are not visible. When I publish the project, the topics/text are visible. Is there something that I am doing wrong?

are you sure you are publishing to the same place you are checking? sounds like maybe the

published files are going somewhere else? check your settings...

Thank you very much, I didn't even think to check that! I had a hard drive crash a few weeks ago, and apparently didn't get every

thing set up properly.
