Afternoon all,
Just wondering if anyone out there has taken it upon themselves to test RH 8.0.2 for proper operation (authoring, generating, various SSL layouts, etc.) after we switch back to Daylight Saving Time.
Note to self: run full backup routine the afternoon of Friday, March 12.

Hi Patrick
I'm confused about what issues you might expect to see? For moving *INTO* Daylight Saving Time I would expect no issues. *POSSIBLY* there would be issues if we were moving *OUT* of DST back to standard time.
Personally, I think any concern is unfounded and a waste of time.
Cheers... Rick

Rick,
I expect to see no issues at all. But too many decades working for software companies have taught me to be more cautious than your average bear.
I did not expect to see any issue last November either and lost many hours in unproductive activity.
You know what they say: Forewarned Is...the past tense of forewarn.

Sooo, out of curiosity, what happened last year? Was it an issue related to a time change?
I recall one year when a time change blew up my own RoboHelp projects. But it was total error on behalf of the IT staff where I worked. They had configured the time and date wrong on a server that was part of the login process.
Cheers... Rick
