Hello,
Can you check the Preferences (Edit menu), Recording, Settings: is the option 'Camera Sounds' (under Narration at the top) activated? And do you use Automatic recording (not Full Motion Recording)?

Hi there
How exactly are you recording? Are you using Full Motion Recording (FMR) where you end up with a lot of different slides having the camcorder icon on them? If so, that explains it.
If you aren't using FMR, you might check Edit > Preferences > Recording > Settings and ensure Camera sounds is enabled.

Rick, thanks for the reply, I have some FMR but the majority are screen
images. I have been into all of the preferences and I also followed your
link to preferences, but can find no reference to camera sound or anything
that might enable or disable this function. I've only begun to work on this
for about a week and have tutorials form Lynda.com. At the beginning it was
working and I created some projects and software simulations, but now it
seems like my options have changed and not for the better?

Hi there
Can you please post a screen capture of what you do see when you click Edit > Preferences > Recording > Settings?

Ok, just figured it out, it was under the narration option, as soon as I
unchecked that option the other optons appeared and click sounds was one of
them. I guess it's not a big deal but it was distrcting me.
Thanks Again
