Left Pane Not Opening in Explorer

Good Day, The left pane (Contents/Index/Search/Glossary) of my help chm does not open on many Microsoft 2000 systems in Explorer. Instead it needs to be dragged open. Once that is done it displays correctly thereafter. I am using X5. Would appreciate any suggestions. Thanks. Rod

HI Skystride01 and welcome to our community.

When you examine the Window properties by expanding the Windows pseudo folder, then double clicking your default window, do you see a check mark in the option labeled: Hide Nav Pane on Startup? (It's located in the lower left corner area of the dialog)

That's about the only thing that comes to mind... Rick
