Should I use linux binary?

Any help would be apprerciated.

Thanks in advance.

Will it ever be supported? We like the look of this product
but want to remain a pure mac shop.

I can't speak for the future of supported platforms, but in
the interim, have you tried running the installer on a supported
platform and then just deploying the war file on a J2EE server on
your Mac OS X machine for development purposes?

Out of pure curiosity I got it working on the same JRun4
server that comes bundle with ColdFusion 7.0x using the Unix
version from the download page

I dont know if I am infringing any licensing terms but it is
only a techie experiment. I would not want CF and FDS on the same
server for performance reasons.

So far so good for experiments but sometimes the devil's in
the details. If it is not officially supported maybe there is a
good reason... maybe performance issues ??

I wonder if it would work with the Tomcat/JBOSS server
bundled with OSX ???

Anyway FDS is a bit overkill for our needs now. I hope that
Adobe will provide us with an OSX version soon so I can consider it
for a future application.

Pete, thanks for the feedback. I'll try your
suggestion.

I'm looking at Solaris 10 as a possible hardware/os
deployment option since discovering Sun's future BlackBox data
center (though that breaks with my all-mac shop rule). I haven't
seen any forum entries on this. Has this been done?

I successfully installed FDS on my mac after doing the xalan
fix for use with JBoss and installing it on window xp. I then
copied over the fdsweb.war folder from my JBoss deploy folder to
the deplo folder on my mac. Easy as that, works like a charm. Now
if I only knew Java better.

Maybe try WebORB for ... if you master other programming
languages.
