I RECENTLY PURCHASED A NEW COMPUTER.  I HAD PURCHASED A PRIMA PC GAME GUIDE AND INSTALLED ADOBE DIGITAL EDITIONS TO OPEN THE GUIDE ON MY OLD COMPUTER. WHEN I WENT TO DIRECT2DRIVE.COM WHERE I PURCHASED THE GUIDE IT DIRECTED ME TO INSTALL ADOBE DIGITAL EDITIONS.  IT INSTALLED CORRECTLY,  I GET THIS ERROR MESSAGE AFTER THE GUIDE IS DOWNLOADED.  DOCUMENT IS LICENSED FOR A DIFFERENT USER ACCT.

Did you authorize Digital Editions to the same Adobe ID?  Most likely you didn't.

On your original PC select "Authorize Computer" from the Library menu.  This will either show you the AdobeID you have authorized to, or ask you to authorize if you havent.  If you haven't authorized, do so only with an AdobeID you have not already used with Digital Editions.

Once you have have your original PC correctly authorized, then authorize ADE on your new PC with the same ID.  Then you can either directly transfer the file, or use a new download link.
