1. Re: Duplex Printing problem CS4
P Spier Mar 27, 2010 5:39 PM (in response to isvara78)Have you gone all the way into the print driver setup from the ID print dialog to enable duplex printing?
A better solution, if the answer is yes, would be to export to PDF and print from Reader or Acrobat rather than exporting as .inx and printing from CS3.

2. Re: Duplex Printing problem CS4
isvara78 Mar 28, 2010 2:39 AM (in response to P Spier)I am sure it is a CS4 (6.0.4) problem - OSX10.6.2 - Lexmark 532dn latest drivers
CS3 prints correctly,
CS1 prints correctly
Word prints correctly
Nisus prints correctly
Cheap Imposter prints correctly
I have worked the whole line from program to the printer itself to no avail
CS4 will not print duplex on the Lexmark.
I am trusting in some updates - from somewhere.
Well the worse news today is CS5 - I hope Adobe can sort out CS4 before they lose interest in us! Too much money at stake.
I notice I can export to rtf via Acrobat! Back several steps but it works!
Please if you are able to print in a duplex mode on a iMac or a MacBookPro with CS4 let me know.

3. Re: Duplex Printing problem CS4
isvara78 Mar 28, 2010 10:56 PM (in response to isvara78)Hi Well I seem to be posting to myself
I have resolved the problem.
On the CS4 print setup window there is a Paper Size box I automatically let indd place A4 in this space.
On impulse I changed this from 'A4' to 'Defined by Printer' and save the page as a preset.
I was able to print duplex.
I don't expect miracles but my investment may be saved.
I am truly amazed this simple solution is readily available
