2. Re: License Problem after formating Hard Drive
metallicattack Apr 5, 2010 8:33 AM (in response to metallicattack)Thank you for your quick answer!
I entered my serial number at the installation (is that the right word for "set up"?) and there wasn't any problem.
But after I connect to the internet, this window appear
So I type my serial number (for the second time) and a red cross appear
And I can't go further.
The software may think that my key has already been registered in two computer. He think that my pc with a new OS is a different PC. But it's the same. (Sorry I'm not very clear^^).
My Key is a legal one.
I would like to remove the older key of the last os from the adobe database and used this key on my new OS.
I think, when we install an adobe software on a computer, if we change computer, we can delete it from the first one and use it on the new pc, it's not irreversible Am I right?

3. Re: License Problem after formating Hard Drive
Ankush Ved Apr 6, 2010 1:05 AM (in response to metallicattack)Hi,
Thanks for the screenshots, they were real help.
Sorry to hear that you are running into these sort of issues. This shouldn't be happening.
As a workaround, please uninstall PSE 8 from your machine and if PRE 8 is also installed then please uninstall that as well.
(Before uninstalling both the products, launch PSE Editor and PRE Editor and click on the Help->Deactivate link to deactivate both the products)
Now, install PSE 8 again entering the serial number at the install time, and then launch Organizer and Editor both and see if it working fine now?
Keep me informed.Regards,
Ankush
