1. Re: Can't upload files, access denied
pziecina Apr 6, 2010 10:55 AM (in response to solarhaven2)Hi
You have defined your local computer files as your remote server, which will not work.
To define a remote site see - http://help.adobe.com/en_US/Dreamweaver/10.0_Using/WSBE25912D-A9DE-4ba1-9F85-4C692F5C14ADa .html.

2. Re: Can't upload files, access denied
solarhaven2 Apr 8, 2010 10:20 AM (in response to pziecina)I changed my ftp host information to "emerald.lunarbreeze.com" from "solarhave.org". I still can not upload a file and still get the same access denied message as first posted. If I uncheck "maintain synchronization information" then I CAN upload files. I am not sure what risk I am taking in doing this...
However I can not save any changes made to my html documents. Here is the message I get...
Thanks for helping!!

solarhaven2 Apr 8, 2010 2:36 PM (in response to pziecina)Yes, I am using VISTA. Dreamweaver used to work fine
configured the way it is now under XP -- not since I changed
to Vista and reinstalled and configured Dreamweaver...

This is a known problem with vista, which seems to occur only occasionally, this thread may help you solve the problem - http://forums.adobe.com/thread/437359.
