When I define my single source layout, it doesn't save for some reason. I saved my project, but it still doesn't save when I reopen the project. I'm using RH7.
You could try creating a brand new SSL (do not duplicate the existing one) and see if that sticks. If it doesn't, post back with exactly what doesn't save.
