trilobyte550m Apr 29, 2010 11:32 PM (in response to Phil Griffith)Excellent news! I ordered a boxed product from Adobe.com and specified Fedex Express - the order shows as shipped, but the ETA shows as May 6. Let's hope it's a glitch, and I get my package tomorrow :-)

DVDmike Apr 30, 2010 4:37 AM (in response to jphilip75)There is an interesting feature that I did not know existed before I started downloading. You can upgrade to one of the collections and it includes 32bit PPro and AE CS4 versions that are "compatible" with other CS5 programs in the suite. I am not sure what this is exactly. But it does allow you to upgrade to a video suite CS5 now without requiring a supported 64 bit OS. You can buy the suite now, if you have xp32 presently for example, and use Photoshop CS5 right away. You just still have to use PPro CS4.

ProDesignTools Apr 30, 2010 6:11 AM (in response to DVDmike)@trilobyte550m - If you like you can download the free trial to get started while you're waiting, and then just punch in the key when the box arrives. No need to wait!
@DVDmike - This was discussed at length in the recent Ask a CS Pro session - Pr and Ae CS4 are bundled in the MC and PP suites for use if needed in 32-bit environments... The one-hour Q&A is documented here:

Probably covered completely in the Q&A session, but if I read this correctly, there will no longer be the need to uninstall the trial, run Adobe Clean Script and then install the full-paid version. Good news!
Thanks as always,
Hunt

trilobyte550m Apr 30, 2010 9:18 AM (in response to Bill Hunt)Yeah, I confirmed that with the folks at Adobe sales this morning as well. As soon as I finish downloading Production Premium and then backing up my system, I'll install the trial. Woohoo!

Bill Hunt Apr 30, 2010 9:30 AM (in response to trilobyte550m)That is a move in the right direction - glad that Adobe addressed the issue of going from the trial to the full-paid!
Thanks for the clarification,
Hunt

ProDesignTools May 3, 2010 10:21 PM (in response to John T Smith)John, thanks for your post and my apologies for the delay in response... That link is supposed to go to Adobe's Education Store, and it works OK for me - are you still seeing trouble with it? I tried it numerous times from different computers/browsers and it seems to get to where it's supposed to, at least right now. Thanks again.
