1. Re: Best way to Migrate Actions to a new PC
Zeno Bokor May 2, 2010 5:03 AM (in response to DVDmike)You already have CS6 installed? i'm impressed
If you didn't save your actions to an .ATN file then they're stored in the preferences folder as a .PSP file which isn't a good thing because if the preferences get corrupted you could lose your actions. Save your Action Sets as .ATN files and put them here: C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS5\Presets\Actions
You'll also need to show the hidden files to see that location:

Manage action sets:

2. Re: Best way to Migrate Actions to a new PC
DVDmike May 2, 2010 6:12 AM (in response to Zeno Bokor)Thank you. If I understand this information correctly, then I should save each action set one at a time and that there is no way to save all action sets at once from within Photoshop or otherwise.
I am saving them to a backup disk so that I can easily add them to other PC's later. But by doing this, any changes that I apply to the actions would not be in my backup folder of actions. This is not exactly ideal, but there are only a few sets of actions that I update frequently.
