How to clean your hdd after finishing project in CS4?

      Folks,

Once one has finished working on a given project, is there a 'magic button' in CS4 that deletes all the additional files PrP created in the process of working on the project (preview files, renders, etc.)? I know how to clean the 'media cache' but probably there is a way to clean other unnecessary files as well to avoid cluttering your comp. I clean them manually by jumping from hdd to hdd and deleting folders but this is not very Pro I guess.

      Thanks

          When I am done, I apply a two-step approach:

Project Manager to "archive" my Project and Assets to an external HDD - test that all is good.

Go to the Project's folder structure and just Delete the Project's root folder with all other sub-folders. Then clean the Media Cache.

Note: I always use Copies of my Assets, with the originals on the NAS (unless Captured from miniDV Tape - I never  reuse the tapes), and I locate my Scratch Disks to Same as Project to make this easier.

Hope that helps, and good luck,

PS - I started to say that I use an old toothbrush and soap, but decided to not do that.
