Hello again

Hmm, that woudl be odd because the link advises you to look at your Timeline and check for Click Boxes, Buttons or Text Entry Box objects.

You are saying your Timeline has none of those objects, yet it is still pausing?

How was the project created?

Cheers... Rick

Hello,

Is there no possibility to import  the PPT again and deactivate the mouse click, let it automatically advance? If not, have a look at the timeline (as Rick suggested already): normally you'll see a click box at the end of the timeline on top of the slide (in which the PPT-slide is embedded). Delete this click box, and preview the project.

Hello Glen,

Welcome on the forum.

You can use a Click box or a Button. If you want the user to click anywhere on the slide to advance, use a Click box that covers up the whole slide, and configure the Success action to 'Go to next slide'. And instruct the user to click anywhere.

Or you can insert a button (visible), text or image button, and configure it for the same success action.

Both will pause the slide until the user clicks.

THANKS Liybiri - but can't I just confure the play controls at the bottom to take on that function? Do I have to insert the button in each slide?

Thanks,

Glen

THANKS Lilybirir:  But can't I just configure my preference - so the User controls

at the bottom - play/pause etc - control the slide advance?  Or is the only way to use a Button?

Thanks,

Glen

Sorry, did not know that you wanted to use the playbar to advance.

OK, in that case you'll only have to be sure that the slide is paused, not played automatically. Insert a click box in a place where the user will not click (you can make the click box really small). Then the slide will pause. With the next button of a playbar, or with navigation possibilities of the TOC, the user can then navigate to the next screen.
