Calibrate input?

When I click the calibrate input buttonnothing happens?

What could cause that?

I'm using using captivate 4

HI,

Check the audio recording device set in the dropdown option. If its a microphone device, ensure that microphone is connect to the system and is working. If any other recording device is selected (like line-in or stereo mix), ensure that input audio is playing and volume is correct.
