Zeno Bokor May 25, 2010 10:53 PM (in response to TF22Raptor2)Hard to say without any examples but the Nearest Neighbor resampling method ads a lot of jaggedness. You might also want to look into sharpening with Unsharp Mask/Smart Sharpen.

See the tiger logo in the left hand corner, now to me that is what I would call a crisp/pixely/blocky finish, if anything it needs some smoothing to smooth it out a touch, but on ocassions I like that blocky feel.
That is the sort of finish I am trying to achieve when I need to, I find most of my work doesnt come up pixely/blocky and is a lot smoother compared to that.
I was thinking prehaps there is a technique, yep I've tried the unsharp mask and pixelatte filters. I've created the original artwork in Illustrator, and imported it into photoshop and then reduced size.
Any other ideas?

Zeno Bokor May 25, 2010 11:46 PM (in response to TF22Raptor2)There doesn't seem to be any special trick involved, it's all a function of the small size of the image. If you make a circular Shape Layer with the Ellipse tool that's the same size as on the logo and add a 1pixel white stroke to it you'll notice that they look nearly identical.
