How do I get a crisp, pixely finish to graphics when reducing them?

      Hi all,

I often see graphics on websites where you can tell there is a slight cripsy/pixelly finish / antialising to them compared with something that looks too smooth if anything. I tend to find that I would like this crips/pixelly finish on my graphics sometimes, just wondering if anyone know a good technique to achieve this. If only a very slight pixelation feel to it, but sometimes I feel have that finish on certain graphics makes them look better.

I have tried all of the different interpolation settings and even tried reducing then upscaling to try and get the finish I was after but could not achieve it that way.

Any help would be great, going off to investingate pixellate filters to try and achieve this.
