1. Re: Compatibility problem between Acrobat 8 and Reader 9?
DavidW7 May 28, 2010 8:53 AM (in response to DavidW7)Forgot to mention that I run the Acrobat 8 and Reader 8 on Vista and the Reader 9 on Windows 7. So is it possible that the problem is actually a Windows 7 incompatibility (of Acrobat 8) ?

3. Re: Compatibility problem between Acrobat 8 and Reader 9?
Bill@VT May 28, 2010 11:08 AM (in response to Bernd Alheit)I just saved a PDF with the toolbar and such turned off in AA8. I sent it to another machine and opened it in AA9. The items were still turned off. Generally the options in the PDF should override any settings in the Reader, so I am not sure what problem you are havinh, unless the turn off option did not take (you have to save before they activate.
