I understand that if one buys ColdFusion builder, one gets Flash Builder Standard included.  If one buys Flash Builder Premium one gets a license for ColdFusion Builder included.

Well, I am currently installing Creative Suite 5 Web Premium, which includes Adobe Flash Builder (level unknown) as well as Dreamweaver, fireworks, flash pro, photoshop, ect.  But not ColdFusion Builder.  Seems to be an odd item to be left out of that list?

This is a known (and AFAIK an unresolved) issue. It seems that CS5 was packaged before CFB was finalized, so it wasn't included (or grandfathered). I suppose others may know more and may have links to authoritative blog entries or something.

The way I understand it, CF Builder comes with Flash Builder Premium and CS5 premium includes Flash Builder Standard, which does not come with CF Builder.

A while ago, my sister bought me Flex Builder 3 as a gift. It did not come with data visualization (charts), which I wanted. So I called Adobe, explained the issue, and they let me get the charts and pay the difference.

So it might be worth your while to make a phone call to Adobe sales and ask if you can pay the difference between FB Standard and FB Premium, so you can get CF Builder.

You never know until you try. Good luck,

Carlos
