Hi - we are about to migrate a number of sites from Windows Cold Fusion servers to those running CFMXE7 under Solaris. My biggest concern is handling case. Can any of you share your experiences with migrations, tips and tricks you may have, and pitfalls to avoid?
Thanks.

Unless you must do or die, leave migration to the swallows.

It's a must do, unfortunately.

The biggest two issues you're going to have to grapple with are case
sensitivity in file names and pathing issues (e.g. C:\ stuff obviously
isn't gonna fly!). Also, you'll need to make sure that Application.cfm
or Application.cfc isn't application.cfm|cfc with a lower-case "a", and
the same goes for OnRequestEnd.cfm. Other than that you probably won't
have too many issues with the code itself.

Hope that helps,
Matt
