I am trying to export a project and i keep getting an error : your computer does not have sufficient memory to compress the swf file. what could I be doing wrong?
The project is a 80 questions randomly pulled from a "bank" of 460. I the question from pools in other related projects. I am trying to out put this project for CD-Rom and online. There is no graphics (other than logo on start slide.) and audio.

Hi there
Perhaps try turning off compression.
To do this, click Edit > Preferences > Project > SWF Size and Quality and clear the compression settings.

My guess is that the 460 slide question pool is gagging Captivate.
Unfortunately life is full of trade offs. Yes, I'm well aware that you probably want compression for efficiency, but if things refuse to compile with compression enabled, you may have to make that trade off in order to get a project that works.

Ah, So its the sheer number of question slides... interesting... Would CP5 have any better chance digesting it? What else can i do? Mabey if I reduce the Slides from 800x600 to say 640x480 would that help?
Thanks for your incite
