2. Re: Saved Login and Passwords on Flash-Based Site??
incurablegeek Jun 8, 2010 10:29 AM (in response to Ned Murphy)Yes sir, not a problem. "No Brainer" means "no brain required", i.e. whenever one enters "User Name" and "Password", Roboform or any number of autofill forms offers to remember it.
Not so with flash-based sites. That fact has been confirmed by tech support at Pandora. My question is why are flash-based sites so obtuse, laborious, noisome, etc. Put another way, why must I constantly re-enter all of this information on flash-based sites, while on other sites when I click on "Name", for example, both name and password are automatically entered.

incurablegeek Jun 9, 2010 7:23 PM (in response to incurablegeek)I'm going to take a wild guess that "developers" here don't fully understand Adobe Flash sites or perhaps think that eliminating such a nuisance problem that other sites, actually all other sites, don't have is of no importance.
I'll try other sites that I know to be more forthcoming with basic assistance. Sorry for the annoyance.

Ryan Griffin Jul 21, 2011 5:49 PM (in response to incurablegeek)I solved the problem by using an alternate, non-flash, login page. It works with LastPass and Firefox, so I am sure it will work with other password managers.

incurablegeek Jul 21, 2011 7:37 PM (in response to Ryan Griffin)Ryan, I am literally mesmerized. Not knowing what you did or how you did it, I feel like the ancients looking at the Sun. When they couldn't figure it out, they decided to turn it into a god and worship it.
I really hate being ignorant like that, but I do appreciate very much your helping with this problem. Although I haven't thoroughly tested it - obvious via the time/date stamp, I'm sure it will work and must credit you accordingly.
Thank you again!
"by using an alternate, non-flash, login page." = ??
I can google myself silly and eventually learn about this on my own but if you have a site that explains this procedure, I would really appreciate it.
