I just installed Presenter 7 and every time I try to publish a .ppt file it crashes PowerPoint. I get the message that PP had a serious problem with the Presenter plugin and it had to close. Any suggestions? I'm sure I'm missing something somewhere.

I have uninstalled/reinstalled Presenter 7 several times, I even tried going back to Presenter 6 - no dice.

I have tried publishing small, text only pptx files and that seems to work, but my main presentations with no audio never get past the "starting conversion" point. There is nothing complicated in the presentation, and I have been able to publish presentations with 6 in the past.

I have updated to 7.0.2, but this has not helped at all.

I must just be missing something, I am fairly new at this.

thanks.

I have a client with the same issue. Searching Adobe's knowledgebase turns up nothing. He has uninstalled and reinstalled, then upgraded to 7.0.5 all to no avail. This is a thorny problem, definitely.

I am also having this problem with PP2007 and Presenter 7.0.5 in a Vista Enterprise 32- bit environment.  Not finding too many answers.

I have tried totally uninstalling and re-installing Presenter, including all the updates.  Ran diagnostics on Office 2007.  Uninstalling and re-installing Office is not a possibility since it is enterprise managed.

Where IS Adobe?
