Skn file not working?

OK, since I posted yesterday I noticed that when I generate Webhelp the output is not showing the changes I made to default.skn (I used the Skinny on Skins file as a guide). What happened here? Any ideas?

To be specific, I have been making changes using notepad to the default.skn file, saving in ansi format.
