Hi all,

As part of my final year project in my college, i developed a JavaHelp
authoring tool and would like to extend and enhance it further. I would
like to extend the tool to create help files in other formats (say WebHelp).
And would also like to enhance the tool further to provide
more functionality of JavaHelp. The following is the address where
the project is hosted. It is an open source project.

http://sourceforge.net/projects/jhelpmaker

Please do help me to enhance it further and would like to have your
comments posted. Where could i get the specification for WebHelp. Is
it available open to the community.

Regards,

Suresh

Hi Suresh and welcome to the community

You probably need to speak to the Adobe legal department about WebHelp. WebHelp is a proprietary name and output that is associated with RoboHelp output. Certainly isn't "open source". As Adobe is trying to resume development of RoboHelp, I'm doubtful they would want to make the output specs avaliable for open source. But hey, it never hurts to ask, no?

Sincerely... Rick
