Hello,
I have read the Windows 7 & 64 bit thread about how Captivate 4 not work within a Windows 7/ 64-bit environment, some how it worked on this computer before I adopted it. I am trying to record audio on a project and when I go into Audio-Setting--the input device area is greyed out and I can't select a device. I have a Microsoft headset attached to the laptop by USB. I also cannot click on the Calibrate input button because it is greyed out.
This laptop was used to create several Captivate 4 projects without any audio issues as far a I know. I just adopted the laptop and unfortunately the previous user is no longer at this office.
Thanks,
AMT2007

Hello,
Just to be sure: is the update installed? Check the version (should be 1658) or go into Help menu, Updates.

Hello,
Did you start Captivate as Administrator?
Another workaround: try to start in XP-simulation mode.

Hi Lilybiri,
I am running in Administrator mode and XP-compatability mode is turned on.

Sorry, cannot think of something else. Do run CP4 on a Win7 64bit laptop but I'm using another microphon and seem to be lucky.
