Hi, I have just had to re create a project from scratch as
the previous one corrupted. The new project I have created
will not compile as it states the stop file has been limited to 512 bytes.
Please help

I'm not a CHM guru but don't think that stops the file compiling, it is just a warning. Look for other reasons.

I'd tend to agree with Peter. If your STP file was in excess of 512k it must be VERY big. It is just a text file and the default one is just 2k. Maybe there is some entry in it that is causing the warning.

Is it not a warning that is always given?

I didn't realise that, thank you.
I have just tried to compile the project again but it says fatal error when compiling.
I only have text, and hyperlinks to either word documents or web links.
Any ideas
Many thanks for your help

Carl, this is worth a try.
Go to File > Project Settings > click on the Advanced button > bring the Stop List tab to the front > Click the "Reset to Default" button.
Let us know.
