1. Re: PageMaker, supporting Unicode and de-directional text flow
BobLevine Jun 28, 2010 11:54 AM (in response to annabellee10)Never happen. Pagemaker is DEAD. It will never be updated for anything.
For what you need you should be looking into InDesign. If you need RTL support you'll want to buy the Middle Eastern version.

2. Re: PageMaker, supporting Unicode and de-directional text flow
annabellee10 Jun 28, 2010 12:26 PM (in response to BobLevine)The problem is that the most part of my publication already I did in PageMaker. Now if I go to InDesign, all my work that I have done goes to trash, and in InDesign I have to start all from the beginning.
By the way, is it possible to get trial version of the Middle Eastern version to see how it works? I check inDesign CS5 trial and It is not exactly what I need.
P.S. Why do you say that PageMaker is dead?

3. Re: PageMaker, supporting Unicode and de-directional text flow
BobLevine Jun 28, 2010 2:12 PM (in response to annabellee10)Because it is. Adobe discontinued it about 5 years ago.
Check www.in-tools.com.
