3. Re: Transfer markers/comments to PP?
lchapman66 Jun 30, 2010 2:30 PM (in response to lchapman66)Something I just noticed that might be relevant - there are no files in the Ol project folder under "Clips".

4. Re: Transfer markers/comments to PP?
Mark Mapes Jun 30, 2010 4:16 PM (in response to lchapman66)Unfortunately, comment markers from OL are not visible in PPRO. In CS4, we added comment markers to OL too late for PPRO to provide support. In CS5, adding that support was on the PPRO team's roadmap, but alas the decision to defer a completely different feature inadvertently derailed plans on the comment marker front.

5. Re: Transfer markers/comments to PP?
lchapman66 Jun 30, 2010 4:25 PM (in response to Mark Mapes)Thanks for the info, Mark. So, do you have a suggestion for how I can
log a clip after it's been captured? I have one long (55 min) m2t file
from a Canon XH-A1.

Mark Mapes Jun 30, 2010 5:04 PM (in response to lchapman66)Please elaborate on what you mean by "log" and "capture." Those two terms get tossed around a lot in video, and it seems like everybody has a slightly different thing in mind.
Is the content on tape you want to get it onto the computer?
You said previously "there are no files in the OL project folder under "Clips." Did you record in OL? If so, when you load the project through which you recorded, do the clips show in the Project panel, and can they be played?

7. Re: Transfer markers/comments to PP?
lchapman66 Jun 30, 2010 6:39 PM (in response to Mark Mapes)The tape was captured, not in Ol. I want to add metadata that will allow me to mark sections of the file with meaningful annotations. To add the markers I imported the file into Ol. The entire tape is one file. It plays fine in Ol and Pr.
