Hide Browser Address Bar

Does anyone know how to hide the browser's address bar and menus in Webhelp? I

(I searched these forums....but I must have missed something 'cuz I know someone must have asked this question before!)

Hi there

The only way to do this is by using JavaScript to script launching the WebHelp. At the time you are able to specify the Window attributes such as Address bar.

The bottom line is that you need to use Google or another search engine to locate some scripts for opening windows. Similar to the link below:

Hi there

Any HTML page is opened from within the browser. Very often by clicking a link found on another HTML page. The script would need to reside in the other HTML page. The page where the user clicks to open your help.

You cannot change attributes of the browser from a page you are already viewing. You have to ponder that a moment to understand why. Think about hackers and folks that like to cause you grief. If we were able to influence things like that on the page you are viewing, you could be trapped on someone's page and forced to view it with no means of escape.
