When using the shift enter key for line breaks and the enter key when creating tabs, I lose the formatting after generating it to Webhelp or previewing it. Why does this happen? How should I fix it? RoboHelp X5.

Not a problem I have seen reported before.

Does this happen in the supplied demo projects as well as your own?

Shift Enter is a way of entering a line break. Enter creates the next paragraph and there is no concept of tabs in HTML so I am not sure what you are doing there.

The licensed version. It is when I have a numbered item and then use the shift enter key to add a tip or a note. The tip/note will have spacing issues when using the output view.

Not sure why you have mentioned "The licenced version".

You haven't answered the question in the second paragraph.

If you create a new project with just one topic, do you get the same problem?

Then I would suspect something in your style sheet.
