1. Re: CS3 Upgrade to CS5 Upgrade?
Mohammad Tahseen Jul 9, 2010 2:00 PM (in response to Evil Lair)General logic for upgrade is that upgrade is allowed from prior 3 versions which means CS5 can be upgraded from CS2, CS3 or CS4 products/Suites. Check on Adobe's website first for from which all products it is allowed.
Thanks,
Tahseen

2. Re: CS3 Upgrade to CS5 Upgrade?
Dov Isaacs Jul 9, 2010 2:10 PM (in response to Evil Lair)The direct answer is yes! Once you updated CS to CS3 (there never was anything officially labelled as "CS1" by Adobe), you have the equivalent of having purchased CS3 from scratch. When you install CS5, provide the CS5 upgrade serial number and if it cannot find CS3 (i.e., you previously uninstalled it), you will be prompted to key in the full CS3 serial number which for you will be the CS3 upgrade serial number. Clear as mud, huh?
