Hello Adobe staff,
you wouldn't believe how much I anticipate further releases of Flash Builder.
Its a good tool, yet it lacks several features and bug fixes to become THE tool for building Flex apps.
Therefore I would like to ask what is happening in the FB development world these days.
- Is development of FB shifting to India? The forum and JIRA gives this impression.
- What is the roadmap for further releases? What features are planned? For when?
Cheers
Tom

Hi Tom,
Thanks for your forum post.
We have engineering teams working on Flash Builder in both Bangalore and San Francisco. The teams are actively working on the next version of Flash Builder, code named "Burrito".
I can't reveal much information about the next version at this moment in time, but if you're coming to Adobe MAX in October I'd recommend you attend this session: http://max.adobe.com/schedule/by-session/563d0311-8c31-4b93-a59f-9d637ed65b0e
Thanks,
Andrew

Hello Andrew,
thanks for your reply, although coming to MAX just for the roadmap is too dear for me.
Now that FB 4.0.1 has shipped, could I direct your attention to two bugs, that bother me hundreds of times every day I work with FB:
https://bugs.adobe.com/jira/browse/FB-26568
and especially
https://bugs.adobe.com/jira/browse/FB-27082
Thanks a million
Tom

Hi,
Unfortunately we're not currently planning on addressing those specific issues in the Flash Builder "Burrito" release.
We'll continue to review the situation however and monitor the number of votes it has from other Flash Builder users.
Thanks,
Andrew

Really? Oh man, that is so disappointing.
I can't believe I am paying good money for this product, putting in a lot of effort finding and reporting these bugs, and you tell me you don't WANT to fix a simple outline SORTING issue, which annoys me like crazy.
