Chris Cox Jul 19, 2010 1:03 PM (in response to El Gu man)Not sure if you selected a tiny area, or if there is not enough context for the fill to work from on the layer.

Are there minimun requirements? It did not appear to be so small: the object I selected is a telephone pole.

Shouldn't the warning be "the Content-Aware feature requires more data to operate"… "thanks so much for your patience… xxx Adobe".
Its the strange and unnecessary use of the word "it" that gets me every time.

4. Re: Content-aware filling error: not enough data to fill it in a Content-Aware manner
Chris Cox Jul 19, 2010 1:43 PM (in response to El Gu man)And was there a lot of good data on the rest of the layer to replace the telephone pole with?
From your description it sounds like you copied just the pole onto a layer and tried to use CAF -- so there's nothing else on the layer to replace the pole.

You were correct. I was selecting/loading too small of an area. It worked when using the entire image. Thanks,
Gustavo
