Copying settings between Workspaces

I have my main workspace set up just how I like it - lots of key command customizations, etc.  Whenever I create a new workspace, I lose all that work.  Is there any way to copy the settings?  Or even better, make a "master" workspace which all the others inherit from in some sort of live-link way?  That way if I add a new key command I don't have to go into every workspace and re-add it.

Unfortunately eclipse does not provide a feature to copy all settings (it asks for workbench layout and working sets). The key is to copy the .settings folder to your new workspace. I did a small search http://www.google.co.in/search?hl=en&q=eclipsecopysettings+workspaces&aq=f&aqi=&aql=&oq=&gs_rfai= and got some solutions.

Ps: I haven't tested these.

Thanks
