Anyone else having this happen where your preview loads out of foucs? if you do 1:1 then zoom back out all is fine. (its previewed this pic a hundred thousand times before)
And, this thing where it sometimes cant find a certain image file, that it already knows where it is, when exporting?
Thks, just curious.

Donnie,
Jao points to the correct thread. What resolution is the monitor where you're experiencing this? Instead of zooming 1:1, try going from Fit to Fill and see if that works. I filed a report with Adobe on the issue Jao pointed you to.
I'm not experiencing any issues with finding images...

3. Re: LR3 - out of focus previews & cant find an image.
2drumstix Jul 27, 2010 6:19 PM (in response to JayS In CT)Jay thanks. My monitor is 1280 x 1024, standard preview set to 1024-high. Fit to fill isnt really practical for images shot in portrait framing, and setting to fill is not making a difference in my case. My case seems to be fairly simple in whats happening, when I open LR every image is slightly out of focus until I zoom in/out, even images LR has previewed many times previously. I'm not experiencing the issue of not seeing develop changes I make render, that seems to be working just fine, I make dev changes I see them straight away.
No one else having the issue where LR "sometimes" cant find a certain image file when exporting? one that has been imported and it knows where its location?
thks

2drumstix,
I assume you've gone the route of deleting the previews folder and letting is regenerate?

jjprov Aug 15, 2010 7:47 AM (in response to 2drumstix)Yes,
I am having the same problem in Acrobat 9. It is obviously a bug that needs to be corrected. This did not happen in Acrobat 8 or the other Adobe products. It has something to do with CS5, and Adobe just needs to address the issue. There is no excuse for this, and any explaining it away is ridiculous to me. All my other programs outside of Adobe work great; all resolutions are perfect. I am sure we will see an update that addresses the problem, and hopefully soon.

It can't be completely related to CS5 cause I haven't put that on my system yet (still working through LR stuff). It is interesting that you say you're having the same issue in Acrobat. I wonder if there is some code borrowing across product lines (would make sense if doable).
Did you report the issue in Acrobat? If not, you should and reference the thread "LR3 Slow Rendering" in this forum as well.
