Hi

A colleague is working on a RH8 project and just about to publish as WebHelp.

We tweaked the master page to include a phone number in the footer, saved and closed it. Republished it and the style sheets and master page have become detached from all content pages.

We have been unable to reattach the master pages. We tried to reattach all at once in the Topic List unsuccessfully. We also trid individually without success. I have copied the Master Page, renamed it and tried to reattach that too. But still no joy. Any ideas?

Your help appreciated.

In the Additional Options section when generating, select Apply to all Topics and then select the CSS and Master Page you want.  Try that avenue.

Hi JC,

Just tried that out.

With no success unfortunately. Thanks though, didnt know that option existed - may be useful in the future.

Anyone else?

Nick.

There's a similar question answered in the Dreamweaver forum.

Unlikely but worth a look.

Hi Peter,

No I looked at the code and it seems to be ok with head and body tags where they were supposed to be.

I gave up in the end and have created a new master page and reattached it. Bit annoying.
