mx7 - unable to load library - cfx dlls under linux

I've tried to load a variety of cfx dlls on my Linux MX7 installation, and each time it gives an "Unable to load library" error. I've tried with and without the C++ recompile hotfix. The thing that has me really puzzled is it gives that error even if the file isn't there; it makes me wonder if it can even find it. Is there a better error/troubleshooting log I can read to see what's happening? Anyone have any ideas?

This is simply that dll will only run Windows, these will not work on Linux so you are going to have to find an alternative.
