1. Re: Units in pixel
Bill@VT Aug 11, 2010 10:14 AM (in response to nina1234567)There may be an issue with what you are trying to do and why you can not find it. Pixels are not a standard dimension, but depend on the resolution you have. The default in Acrobat is 1200 dpi, though many of use reduce this to 300 or 600. Then there is the resolution of the graphics that may be different. When you measure in pixels you are measuring relative to the dpi spec which may not be fixed in a PDF document. You are better off using pts or such. So are you sure you really want pixels, and if so, what resolution?

nina1234567 Aug 11, 2010 11:51 PM (in response to Bill@VT)Hi Bill@VT,
yes, I really need px for my measurement. I often design i.e. websites but do not implement them.. therefore I give the design template to a programmer. And to be sure, he really stick to my template, I add a "pixel exact" measurement. My resolution has to be 72dpi.
And I have to add: I could go on measuring it on Photoshop, but I am still searching for a better workflow, and that is why I tried it with Acrobat and found the "measurement tool". If I can measure pixel, this will be a much easier way for me than using Photoshop.

Bill@VT Aug 12, 2010 4:09 AM (in response to nina1234567)As far as I know it is not an option in Acrobat, probably because there are a mix of resolutions in PDFs. If I am wrong, that might spark someone in the know to chime in.
