Barbara B. Aug 11, 2010 11:03 AM (in response to Deep Woods)Okay. In that case, first try this: Quit PSE. Open a finder window. Click on your hard drive in the list on the left up at the top of the window (macintosh hard drive if you haven't renamed it). Then go to library>Application Support>Adobe>Photoshop Elements>6.0>Locale>en_US (this will be different if you aren't in the US) and delete the file mediaDatabase.db3.
Now restart Elements but don't do anything. Wait several minutes to see if the panel content will rebuild itself. Don't use the program till you see the icons and such in the panel.
Edited to correct typo in file path.
