Renaming text in the navigation pane

Hello folks!

I'd like to rename the text at the top of the navigation pane (green):

RenameNavigation1.gif

I found the file "whres.xml" that contains the phrase I'd like to change, which looks like that after renaming (again green):

RenameNavigation2.gif

After saving this file, I open the WebHelp by double clicking "Index.htm", but the text still looks as before. And, of course, when I generate the project, my text in the "whres.xml"-file is overwritten by the standard text ...

Any ideas? Your help is much appreciated.

Greetings,

Kurt

Hi there

You might try changing things in the following location.

Click File > Project Settings > General tab. Then click the Advanced... button.

Now click the LNG file tab. Make the changes there and generate your output again. See how that works.

Cheers... Rick

Why not do it via the RoboHelp interface? Then it will stick.

Project Settings > Advanced button.

Dear Rick and Peter,

Seems you had the same idea at the same time ... and it worked!!

Thanks a lot and have a good day.

Greetings from Switzerland,

Happy for you it worked, Kurt. For Peter, I believe it's about 9:00 AM right now. For me, it's 3:00 AM. One infinite mind! (and a noisy little dog I wanted to kick for waking me up! Well, I really wouldn't kick her. She's too sweet. But it sure annoyed me.)

Cheers Rick

Hi Rick,

Yeah, I'm happy, too!!

And I know what you mean about "kicking your dog" ... I've got a cat who's quite active during the night sometimes, and then he expects the same from his owner ... but he's just too sweet to be angry with him ... or not for a long time, anyway...).

I hope you can go back to sleep, so, sweet dreams to you (and your dog!).
