I am trying to updgrade new files in RoboHelp 8.  Once I click on the file, it does bring up the "Uprade" option.  Once I click on "Upgrade", I receive an error message that says

" Your project file, M\ Help\Copy of RoboHelp 8 8-27-10... is corrupt and cannot be reopened.  Try deleting the report and reopening the project

Can someone help me with this?  We only have 2 files in RoboHelp 8.  I'm not sure of what the error message implies.

Thanks.

Looks like your project is on a network, the death of many a good project.

RoboHelp projects should always be run locally. Try moving it.

Welcome to our community

Do you see a colon following M? As in M:\ Help\?

If so, that likely refers to a network location. RoboHelp projects typically don't survive well on network drives. Try copying things to your local C drive and see what happens.

Cheers... Rick

Thank You.  I am not allowed to move items in my local C drive, so I opened up the "temp" file under my local C drive and it still isn't working.
