Weird Cursor Behavior at 700% Zoom

    Shan-Dysigns Community Member

When I zoom in past 600% (680% to be more exact), my cursor changes (while the move tool is selected) form the normal move cursor to the cursor when you are dragging a guide line across the canvas. Is this a function of Photoshop? Is there a way to disable this? There are many times I'm zoomed in that far (and more), and I can never use the move tool (I have to manually use arrow keys). I don't even know what this event is called or I would have looked online for more information.

      Thanks...

      I'm using CS4 right now...

EDIT:I think I figured it out... this happens when I have guides turned on, but when I turn the guides off, the cursor doesn't automatically change even at 1000%. I guess it's a guide line auto something... oh well.. solved my own question...

But, I guess that still leaves the same problem when I want to move around my guide lines when I'm zoomed in that far. With guides turned on, if I want to move a guide line, as soon as I click, another guide line is created (this is what I originally wanted to disable), so I guess my issue is still open (but just by different means).
