I have a topic that is appearing twice in the compiled project. How to delete it from the place it doesn't belong?

Just to confirm, are you generating a CHM file or some other output. Can I also just check that you have done some of the normal checks for things like duplicate topics inside the project, deleting the projectname.cpd file and reopening the project.

yes, it's a chm file. I checked for dupes, and have reopened the project

file several times. I don't know about the projectname.cpd file and whether

I would want to delete it. Can you explain?

RoboHelp even gives you an option to delete the CPD file so there is absolutely no reason why it can't be deleted as it gets recreated. It is a file that can occasionally cause issues so it worth trying. You can read more about it here.

I'm looking for the cpd file under the project .xpj file but I see nothing

named projectname.cpd or even close. Where is the CPD file located? Also, I

did clear the cache for future.

Colum, I deleted the

projectname.cpd file. And I also autocreated another TOC beca

use I'm guessing maybe that's

an issue. However, after autocreating a new TOC and checking the cache bo

x, and deleting the cpd file, nothing has changed.
